Before you write
If your question is about a tour you’ve booked, you’ll get an answer faster from the people who hold it.
| Your question | Who can answer it |
|---|---|
| A refund, a cancellation, a payment, or a confirmation that hasn’t arrived | Viator, through your booking or Viator’s help centre |
| Pickup times, the meeting point, running late, what to bring, access needs | The operator, on the phone number in your confirmation |
| A trip cancelled for weather or a road closure | The operator for a new date, Viator for the refund |
The full picture is on our booking help page. We can’t see your booking, change it or refund it, so writing to us first only adds a few days.
How to reach us
Email hello@southernlakestours.com.
We reply within 3 business days. Business days here means Monday to Friday, not counting public holidays. There’s no phone line and no live chat, and we don’t take messages through social media.
Write to us about:
- something on a page that looks wrong or out of date
- a tour you think we’ve missed or placed unfairly
- how the site works, how we’re paid, or how we choose tours
- press or research questions
If you’re writing about a specific page, paste its address into the email. It saves a round of questions.
Reporting an error
Tell us the page, the line and what it should say. If you know the source, a link to the operator’s own page or the current Viator listing helps us check it quickly.
Every correction we make is dated and logged on our corrections page, newest first. Small fixes like a typo don’t go in the log. Anything that changes a fact a reader might act on does: a time, an inclusion, a meeting point, a cancellation rule.
Operators
If you run a tour that appears on this site and something about it is wrong, email us with the correction and we’ll check it against your listing. If your listing on Viator has changed, our pages pick that up at the next quarterly recheck at the latest, and sooner once you tell us.
We don’t sell placement. A tour’s position on a page follows the rules on how we choose tours, and no payment changes it.
